Potash is a fertilizer that’s very hard to replace and the vast majority of US farmers use potash from Canada, as it’s one of two main global suppliers with Belarus as the other.

It’s a bizarre thing to tariff at all but the rate is down to 10% from 25%. My sense is that the US is working towards putting a 10% tariff on everything that enters the country.
